Color Flow II,3 Acrylic Print

These pieces are wholly new beings born of my watercolor, acrylic,black ink and collage physical artworks combined with my digital art from my original photography.

As a young girl, I hung out with Great-Grandma, Helen Mae (Enoch) Gleiforst, who was a noted California Impressionist artist, and watched her paint in her studio. She did wonderful landscapes and gardens and florals. Though G-G was certainly an influence in terms of first perking my interest in art, of much greater influence, however, was my mom, also an artist, and the good deal of time I spent hanging out with her in the Santa Barbara City College Art Department. There my mom not only created art but also was a TA for art history and the basic understanding art classes.
